XL Care: On-Device Health Insights

XLCare is our first health companion app built on top of RN Health Link. Combining wearable data with on-device AI assistant, it focuses on delivering personalized, privacy-first health insights through a conversational interface, showcasing how our research foundations evolve into real, user-facing applications.

As part of our research stream, we built React Native Health Link, a valuable SDK that unifies wearable health data across iOS and Android. It streamlines access to core metrics like heart rate, steps, and sleep, making it easier to build interoperable health solutions. This SDK now powers multiple products and prototypes across our research pipeline.

Charge Health is a mobile social game for care team members that builds cultures of belonging and reduces turnover. Charge is the fastest growing app for care teams and turned to Xmart labs for assistance as they scaled rapidly.We ran a full technical and design assessment and delivered a phased refactor to fix maintainability, scalability, UX, and accessibility issues. The result: a modernized architecture, solid test coverage, and a structure the internal team can confidently build on so Charge can keep growing.
